RESTRUCTURING A BUS NETWORK
CONTEXT:
Our client, an urban transport network faced the challenge of restructuring its network while guaranteeing operational continuity and training its drivers. As a Tott up partner since 2023, it deployed our tool to facilitate the transition, thereby improving service quality and driver satisfaction.

ITS CHALLENGES :
– Guarantee operational continuity during the restructuring phase of the network
– Training drivers to limit route errors during the changeover to the new network
– Provide drivers with peace of mind while driving
DEPLOYMENT OF TOTT UP
– Import of route data and creation of lines by Tott up
– Appropriation of the tool by the referents before the implementation of the new network: two people trained in the main depot and in-house training given in the other depots
– Implementation of the necessary support and communication tools to encourage immediate adoption of the tool by the operating team
Deployment in 2 phases:
Phase 1: Testing the tool with new drivers using 5 equipments for 6 months
Phase 2: Extension of the tool to all drivers and implementation of the new network with 70 pieces of equipment for 6 months
USE OF TOTT UP :
– Integration of the 15 new lines in the network
– Training drivers on the new network during operating time
– Presentation of the tool during the recruitment phase
RESULTS AND GAINS:

– Quality of service with fewer route errors and better route coverage
