REDUCING ACCIDENT RATES

CONTEXT:

Our client, an urban network, has been using Tott up since 2023 to reduce accidents and raise driver awareness in a non-coercive way. Through targeted trials on the most accident-prone lines and subsequent network-wide deployment, Tott up has created over 500 awareness messages and gained support from operational teams, enhancing network safety.

DEPLOYMENT OF TOTT UP

Phase 1: Experimentation

Scope :

– 9-month trial
– On the 3 most accident-prone lines
– With 5 Tott up kits

Identification of risk areas:

– Several line surveys in the field
– Analysis of accident history on the network

Targeted drivers :

– New drivers
– Multi-accident drivers

Phase 2: Full roll-out

– Deployment on all 16 urban lines
– 10 Tott up kits
– 2 key contacts trained on Tott up tools

RESULTS AND GAINS:

Convincing operational teams: 8 “mentor drivers” involved in the project

Over 500 awareness messages created for high-risk areas
